I went to Los Angeles this week, attending at the SIGGRAPH convention. I've seen a lot of great conference and master class (Andrew Gordon - Spline Doctors), (Shawn Kelly & Carlos Baena - Animation mentor), (Tribute to Frank and Ollie - Dave Burgess - Randy Cartwright - Kevin Kock - Andreas Deja). A lot of great material for animators! Here's some pictures from my trip!

Digital art masters is now available ! Meet some of the finest digital 2D and 3D artists working in the industry today, and discover how they create some of the most innovative art in the world. The book is divided into five genre sections (sci-fi, scene, fantasy, character, cartoon). As with volume 2, approximately 55 artists will be chosen and each artist will have a brief biography and a showcase image. They'll describt the creation of the showcase image - focusing on the aspects which were most challenging or interesting. Broadly each artist will explain the process from concept, modeling, texturing, rendering, and lighting through to post-production.

Im curently working on Dpuppet, DPuppet is a free rig for 3D Studio max. It's mean to provide animators with a way to animate without having to think about the technical side of 3D animation. The DPuppet have no controllers, the animator animates directly the differents parts of DPuppet. The rig comes with a visual interface that provide a selection board. Im working on this project with Eric D Légaré (TD). I work on the modeling, concept and animation.

I gave an animation conference at Singapore last week. Thank to the 3D sense team and everybody who make this event possible. I really appreciate to meet Artist from Singapore. So,Thx for everything guys ! CG Overdrive is an iconic event for computer graphics and animation enthusiasts held in Singapore. Conceived with the philosophy of "story as king", the knowledge-centric event aims to arm Asian CG talents with deeper expertise. The line-up of activities includes an exhibition, conference, masterclasses, forums and networking events, guild meetings, opportunities as well as a host of festival activities such as a recruitment zone, exhibitor workshops, film screenings and a digital art gallery.

Here's my first animation done on CHEVisodes. It's an acting test done with Fern the farmer. Animating this shot was really cool ! Hope you will appreciate too ! Comment and critics are welcome ;).

CHEVisodes is an episode based cg animated movie featuring CHEV, a quite freaky goat living some wild adventures. Other characters may join CHEV in his adventures but this will be yours to discover ... CHEVisode01 is yet to be published, but you can still take a look at the "Work In Progress Video" to see how things are going
